Meade LX200GPS Robotic Telescope

Through the generous efforts of David Levy, Stargarden Foundation has acquired a 14" Meade LX200GPS telescope, donated by Meade Instruments. The telescope will be fully robotic, available for research through internet access. Eventually, this telescope will be placed at Lake Titicaca, in Bolivia. Until then, much needed equipment and software needs to be acquired to set up and test the functionality before sending it to Bolivia. Your help is needed in acquiriing computers, CCD cameras, and cash donations for temporarily housing and maintaining this telescope in the States during its testing phases. For more information contact the Stargarden Foundation.
